Hi, please does anyone have any information or even a photo of Throstle Nest? This was a grand house built in the 18th century, just up from the railway bridge on Belle Vale Road, roughly where Nos 52-56 now are. It had a lodge too, a bit further up the road. Someone posted an aerial photo on this forum a few years ago, which does just show the building and grounds before demolition. But I have been unable to find any other photo, and I don't think it is in the Gateacre and Belle Vale book. Here's the OS 25" map of it. Thanks so much. Attachments:
